Ford 9” Posi rear on parallel springs.
Drop I beam front on wishbones.
4 wheel disc brakes, so stops properly
Choice of wheels. Steels with 50 Ford caps or American Racings with white walls
Engine is a stroked 302 / 347 with factory fuel injection, GT40 heads, lightened flywheel and a 5 speed Tremec.
The 1932 registration goes with the truck
Full Drivetrain description from the last owner:
1999 Ford 5. 0 engine. An explorer front drive was used because it's the shortest available. GT40P heads, light porting, beehive springs from an LS chevy, Scat 3. 4 crank, 5. 4 i-beam rods, Probe forged pistons and wrist pins. Balanced to 28oz. Pro Products balancer on the front. Slightly more than 9-1 compression ration. Standard bore with less than 1 thousandth wear when assembled. Bearings, oil pump, timing set all replaced when crank installed. Centerforce dual friction clutch, alum flywheel with new friction surface. Ford tremec alum bell housing, tremec 3550 5 speed with a Modern Driveline mid-shift kit, allows the shifter to clear the seat. Pro 5. 0 shifter and custom made lever. 2" thick wall driveshaft for extra clearance. 9" rear with a new posi when assembled. 3. 5 ratio, all bearings and gear set was new. Lincoln mark 8 disc brake kit. 28 spline axles.
The engine has Ford eec iv efi. Mass air with a Painless Wiring harness. The ecu is hiding behind the seat on the right hand side. The chassis wiring was a Centec kit. Fuses and relays are on the left side under the seat. Alpine stereo, Alpina amp and 4 Infinity speakers under the seat. Autometer gauges, new Ford ignition switch. Double sided key. I had the 2nd Ron Francis switch fail.:) Tanks fuel tank, 16 gallon capacity, 190 liter fuel pump in the tank. Halogen headlights.
