1986 Aston Martin Lagonda Series III, the rarest of the wedge-shaped series, one of only 70 or so made in 1986/ 87.
This example was fully restored between 2008 and 2014 with a no-expense spared philosophy in mind to include a full gearbox rebuild, new wire harness, electronic dash and much more and of course a high-quality bare-metal respray. 5, 500 miles since. The restoration is documented in a large file and receipts for well over 100K are supplied with the vehicle making this example a very serious Concours contender at the next AMOC Concours d'Etat. As a matter of fact and unsurprisingly, it has now won its Class at the AMOC Concours, 3 times in a row. The judges commenting how fantastic the body and paint were on this example.
In recent years, the aircon system was refurbished and the engine ECU's replaced at a cost of nearly £13, 000, the water pump and steering pump were also refurbished and the suspension gaiters replaced.
Needless to say, this wedge is on the button and being fuel-injected, it is relatively quick developing a very honourable 320 bhp and benefits from a clean MOT, the last 4 with no advisories.
This example is fitted with some rare Tickford features such as TV and VHS, colour-coded bumpers and BBS wheels, making this example still looking as modern as it did 38 years ago.
