The Appeal
In the late 90s Jaguar played into its long history with iconic cars and created the S Type, a clever update of the original Mk2 that nodded to the past but was a thoroughly modern luxury saloon.
From 2004 the firm added an economical twin-turbo 2.7litre diesel to the range and this quickly gained positive reviews for its refinement.
This 2007 S Type has that engine and is an exceptionally low mileage car in a great colour scheme and lovely condition. Just serviced and just MOT’d it is the modern classic that surely appeals to the head as well as the heart.

Summary
The second generation S-Type was all about the grace, pace and space that Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons, considered defined his stylish cars. The 2.7litre twin turbo diesel added extra fuel economy, creating a car that is both sensible and desirable.
The very low mileage of this 2.7l diesel S-Type is reflected in the excellent condition, which seems to have aged little since it left the showroom. It is a Jaguar that looks like it will deliver a real sense of occasion whatever the journey.
