The plus
The XJ-SC is the rarest of the many XJS variants and, in many ways, one of the most enjoyable. It's available in convertible or Targa configurations, but there's also the technical specification. Under the bonnet is the highly regarded 3.6-litre AJ6 engine mated to a manual gearbox that unleashes the car's sporting potential.
This 1985 example looks great in its classic Jaguar colour, Charcoal Grey metallic with a beige leather interior. It has clearly been maintained, not least by its current owner who has invested since 2022 to keep it in excellent condition.
Work has included new tyres, rims, shock absorbers, spark plugs and wiring harness, as well as work on the fuel injection system. The air conditioning has also been refurbished, providing a pleasant contrast in hot weather.
This Jaguar XJ-SC is an excellent example of a car that is highly appreciated by enthusiasts. It is sold with a roadworthiness certificate valid until September 2024.
