The Appeal
Ferrari’s 250LM was the Cobra-beater that nearly was. Enzo Ferrari’s audacious attempt to circumnavigate FIA homologation rules failed, but the world still got one of the best Ferraris from the firm’s imperial purple patch.
Essentially a 250 P race car with a roof, just 32 250 LMs were built. They are amongst the most desirable of Ferraris - quite an achievement in itself - and values today are well into eight figures.
If you love the 250LM or are simply a fan of classic 60s Ferraris and your pockets are a little less deep, here is the answer. A 1.6m by 1.8m fibreglass replica of a 250LM bonnet. Forget Ferrari posters, caps, polo shirts and jackets - this is the Ferrari memorabilia that will get visitors talking.
Classically finished in Rosso Corsa with ‘2’ roundel plus lights and badge, it is in very good condition. The vendor reports that there are some light scrapes, but these are not immediately obvious in the photos.
Perhaps you have a Ferrari or collection of Maranello’s finest in your garage or maybe you just love Enzo’s work. This wall art would grace any garage or living room.
