The Appeal
Unlike the Land Rover Defender, America's Ford Bronco, has clung on to the traditional ladder chassis and live rear axle formula. And quite right too. A 4x4 should be tough, dependable and ready to take on any terrain. The modern Bronco remains all of those things, and much more besides.
After testing its capabilities off-road, Road & Track summarised: "The Bronco is far more capable than most owners will have the pleasure of knowing. It’s a machine for challenging your own limits, pushing personal boundaries, and experiencing the world less travelled."
If you like the sound of Ford's revived off-road icon, then it's your lucky day as we're pleased to bring this low-mileage, well maintained Bronco from 2022. The vendor custom ordered this car from the factory for their wife with several rare and coveted upgrades including riveted steel factory fender flares as found on Raptor models, the lesser-seen 2.7-litre engine and modular hard top. The vendor has also fitted Black Rhino wheels with BF Goodrich KO2 tyres
The vendor tells us:
"We picked it up just before Halloween in 2022. My wife and I are only in the US for 3-6 months per year, as we travel a lot, so it does not see much use. When we are away, I put a car cover on it and it is under a covered car port.
"I paid extra and got the bigger 2.7L engine. Every so often, I go on Ford's website and for the past year, I have not seen the option to get the 2.7 on new orders, only the small engine. If you run the CarFax, you will see that I get oil changes every few thousand miles. I am actually taking it in next week to get another oil change."
