The Appeal

Audi’s A8 has always been the epitome of understatement. Perhaps no surprise that it was the weapon of choice for that most demure of Hollywood heroes, Jason Statham.

These big executive limousines are as well built, carefully engineered and luxuriously specified as any captain of industry would expect. The fourth generation ‘D5’ didn’t mess with the formula. That is shares its underpinnings and mechanicals with rarified relatives by Porsche and Bentley tells its own story.

This very smart A8 is handsomely finished in dark blue metallic with a quilted black leather interior. It is very highly specified car with 282bhp 3L twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, Quattro drivetrain and S Line trim. The condition is impressive, helped by low keepers - just two from new - and similarly spare mileage of 33,300 miles.
