The Appeal
How do you improve on perfection? Easily, as it turns out. Bentley’s original Continental GT was a clever marriage of the traditional and the technological, giving buyers a big, brutal GT that would not have been unfamiliar to those Bentley Boys of the 1920s.
The second-generation car stepped things up. A 4L V8 option gave customers a simpler but no less powerful alternative to the big W12, one that was lighter and imbued the new car with more agile handling. The styling evolved but the territory was familiar - a place where bespoke handcrafting meets clever engineering.
This 2016 V8 convertible feels like it ticks all the boxes if you’re in the market for one of these cars. Its owners have kept the mileage low - just 38,200 miles from new - and preserved the condition across its high-specification grey, cream and black trim.
It has been maintained well, too, with a run of annual servicing by Bentley main dealers culminating in a service this May at 37, 313 miles. The MOT runs to June 2025 with no advisories. Any Continental GT is a treat for the buyer, this one especially so.
