Highlights
- A two-owner example of Maserati’s advanced sports saloon
- Presented in powerful and economical diesel form with an 8-speed automatic gearbox
- In a fine and original condition throughout with many popular options
The Appeal
The Tipo M157 Ghibli is the third iteration of the car and marked Maserati’s return to the mid-sized luxury saloon segment after an absence of a full twenty years. The car was key to Maserati’s aim of substantially increasing production output and offering products across all key segments. The car was launched in 2013 and offered a sophisticated specification including a limited slip differential, 8-speed ZF automatic and multi-link rear suspension on all models.
Our car is an example of Maserati’s first ever diesel model featuring a 3 litre, V6 unit tweaked by Ferrari engine guru, Paulo Martinelli, and based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee V6. Ours is a sympathetically used and well-maintained example complete with some key and sought-after extras.
