The Appeal
The California nameplate has always denoted Ferraris with a sporting bent but a clear eye on enjoying the drive in more relaxing style.
When Ferrari reintroduced the name the new car was true to both these themes. When the car was updated in 2014 it was renamed the California T to reflect the twin turbo motor, offered a revised and improved chassis.
This low mileage, much-historied California T is finished in an popular and subtle colour combination. With nearly £5,500 recently spent on improvements it looks ready to enjoy, helped by a long MOT.

This California T neatly underplays its potency with black metallic paintwork and charcoal leather interior. The use of yellow stitching across the cabin trim and for the brake calipers offers a discreet contrast to the finish.
As you might expect of a car sporting such impeccable history it is in very good condition, betraying few signs of use or age. It is particularly well specified, including electric heated seats and factory fitted Apple CarPlay.
The Mechanics
3,855cc V8 twin turbo hand built engine delivering 550bhp
Beautiful engine bay with classic crackle finish red cam covers
0-60mph in 3.6secs
7spd dual clutch automatic transmission with sequential shift options
Full service history most recently in July 2023 less than 100 miles ago
Recent work includes tensioner belt, power steering pump, tyres and battery
The California T, as the name implies, saw Ferrari introduce turbocharging for a mainstream model, although it wasn’t the first application – that accolade is held by the F40. The twin turbo 3.9litre engine delivers a breathtaking 550bhp through the rear wheels.
This car carries a particularly impeccable service history to support its very low mileage. There are annual trips to Ferrari dealers up to March 2022 and then work by an independent marque specialist in July 2023. That visit totalled over £5,400 for service work and replacing tyres, battery, tensioner belt and power steering pump.
