The Appeal

The word ‘Speed’ has special resonance with Bentley buyers. It denoted the brutally quick big Bentleys piloted by the Bentley Boys pre-war. More recently, it is the name applied to the enhanced versions of the firm’s second-generation W12 Continental GT.

Speed models got a power hike to 600bhp and top speed tweak to a shade over 200mph. There were also improvements to the handling and, naturally, a more sumptuous specification. These are exceptionally rare cars and arguably ‘the one to have’ if you’re in the market for a W12 Continental GT.

This 2015 model is finished in an appealing combination of white and blue inside and out, with neat enhancements like quilted seats and piano black veneers. There is a full Bentley service history to August 2024. Recent work includes £11,000 of invoices by Bentley to prepare the car for sale, including mechanical work and wheel refurbishment. The MOT runs to January with no advisories.
