The Appeal

There have been a large number of Mini special editions over the years, but few are so highly sought after as this - the John Cooper Works WC50. Just 250 examples were selected from the Oxford production line and finished by hand to an impressive standard. Built to celebrate John Cooper’s first Formula title, the WC50 was finished in a special 'Connaught Green' in homage to the Cooper racing cars of the 1950s and '60s. It also featured a large number of optional extras as standard, not to mention swathes of special trim, much of which was made from super-light carbon fibre.

Today, these WC50s are exceedingly hard to find, so we're pleased to offer this 2009 example. With superb service history and recent maintenance performed in January 2025, this one would be a superb addition to your driveway.

The vendor remarks:

"A fun car to drive with lots of power, needs to go to someone that wants to improve it and bring it back to its full glory"
