The Appeal
There are some fabulous modified Defenders out there, but every once in a while it’s very refreshing to see an original example, left as Land Rover intended. Indeed, it often comes as a surprise to people when they experience just how capable these off-roaders can be in factory form, and this highly-specified XS is without doubt one of the best of the original Defenders.
It’s covered just 35,643 miles from new and has barely covered any miles during the last few years. The bodywork and chassis present very well for a Land Rover of this vintage, as does the highly specified original XS interior. It’s accompanied by a wealth of accompanying paperwork, demonstrating years of regular servicing. The MOT runs until September 2024, so this Defender is ready to enjoy.
