The Appeal

Motor Cycle News called it ‘one of the most desirable creations of all time.’ They were talking about this, the F4 1000, a bike revered for its engine, ‘god-given handling’ (MCN again) and sheer beauty.
The F4 rebooted MV Agusta and the firm capitalised by evolving several versions. Of those the 1000R is amongst the most desirable because it offered buyers a reworked engine, new frame design and high specification including Brembo wheels and Monobloc brakes, Marzocchi forks and Sachs rear shock.
Just 312 were built and this has to be one of the best. Finished in two-tone red and white ‘Corse’ livery, its handful of keepers have amassed just 781 miles. It has been in collections since 2011, which accounts for its impeccable quality. It looks unused and remains as it left the factory.
The F4 1000R is a must-have for any discerning collection. And this bike, surely, is the one you must have.
