History and Paperwork
- Built in 2009
- The vehicle was purchased by the current owner in 2012 from France and placed in storage
- It underwent a full restoration in 2023 where it was disassembled and all rusty areas were sandblasted
- A host of new parts were installed, including side doors, door hinges, front wings, and bonnet
- The full restoration process was thoroughly documented
- All mechanical aspects of the vehicle have been serviced as part of the restoration
- Only 47,764km from new
The Condition
- The vehicle looks practically brand new following its comprehensive restoration
- The chassis has been sandblasted, primed, and painted
- KBX front grille installed along with new tyres, side mirrors, exterior door handles, and bumper
- Smaller additions include:
- Wipes and screen wash nozzle
- Outer door glass seals
- New fuel cap
- New antenna
- Galvanised tow hook
- Defender lettering
- The roof lining has been retrimmed with black artificial Alcantara
- The vehicle's rims have been sandblasted and powder-coated in gloss black
- All lights, including the premium LED headlights, are functional
The Mechanics
- Powered by a 2.4 TDCi engine with a 6-speed manual transmission
- The vehicle has undergone a full mechanical service
- The oils in the axles, gearbox, transfer box, and engine have been replaced
- New oil, air and fuel filters have been installed
