The Appeal
The X358 was the last of the classically designed XJ saloons. Its clever lightweight aluminium construction concealed a clever secret: this was a big, luxurious saloon that was as agile as a sports car.
The 3litre V6 is a popular modern choice because its durable 240bhp engine offers a decent blend of performance and economy. It is also usefully ULEZ compliant.
This very low mileage X358 facelift car has had just one registered keeper. It recently arrived from Japan where the salt-free roads have preserved the condition of the underside and the Liquid Silver paintwork. The high specification and sparingly used condition are compelling.
