The Appeal
The X-Type was dubbed by Autocar at its launch as Jaguar’s ‘most important car ever’ as they attempted to enter the compact executive saloon market that had been dominated by BMW’s 3 Series and the C-Class of Mercedes. Executed with aplomb, the car was a roaring success and one of the best selling Jaguar's ever
This final year production ‘SE’ example presents in top order. Squat and sporty looking thanks to Aruba alloy wheels and a Sport Premium interior - this example balances purposeful looks with sophisticated Jaguar detailing. Thanks to a diligent service maintenance record and the ‘All Wheel Drive’ system, an abundance of performance and grip is there to match its beauty.
