The Appeal
The key to any 911 purchase is specification. On that basis - and others - this car soundly scores. The discreet ‘S’ badge on the tail confirms that it is one of the desirable factory cars with the larger and more powerful 3.8L engine.
Then there is the colour scheme - Slate Grey metallic - that gives the appealing 997 lines a neatly understated style. This car is also fitted with the factory 6spd manual box.
Inside and out this is a very well kept car. But you would probably expect that when you peruse the history file. Its handful of keepers have kept the servicing up to date and only ever used Porsche main dealers. The run of 10 stamps continues to 73,000 miles in late 2023 - it is now only on 76,000 miles. Even the brake fluid changes and other factory-mandated checks have been attended to as required.
The car is fitted with a modern Kenwood head unit but the original factory stereo is included if the buyer wants to refit it. The current MOT contains no advisories and we are told the car is in very good mechanical order with nothing for the buyer to attend to.
With few signs that this car has been used over its life, this is a very tidy example with great specification.
