Gorgeous XKR presented in stunning colour combination of Liquid Silver over Ivory leather
Superb service history surpassing Jaguar’s own recommended 10,000 mile service interval
A low mileage example in truly enviable condition both inside and out
The Appeal
Introduced in 2007, Jaguar’s 2nd generation XKR marked a clear departure from its predecessor. Featuring sharp styling by Ian Callum and an all new aluminium construction, the new XKR was not only stronger but also significantly lighter than the outgoing model, resulting in both improved performance and fuel efficiency.
One element which did carry over from the previous model however was Jaguar’s fabulous 4.2-litre V8 engine. Being an XKR model, this particular Jaguar benefits from the fitment of an Eaton supercharger. Generating an impressive power output of 420 BPH, the XKR can complete a 0 to 60 dash in less than 5 seconds.
Offered here in the stunning colour combination of Liquid Silver over Ivory leather, this lovely XKR has covered a mere 45,675 miles since 2007 in the hands of 5 owners. With an excellent service history going above and beyond Jaguar’s recommended 10,000 mile service schedule, this clearly cherished example has seen only infrequent use in recent years.
A true classic and widely recognised as one of Jaguar’s very best, the appreciating XKR is the absolute epitome of an utterly complete and highly capable British grand tourer

A reflection of its cherished life, the interior of this XKR presents in a handsome condition commensurate with its enviably low mileage
The shapely Ivory leather seats appear in excellent condition throughout, showing only the mildest of patina over the driver and passenger seat bolsters
Complimenting the Ivory seating, a gorgeous dashboard trimmed in soft light blue leather with attractive brushed aluminium inserts
Usual high traffic touch points such as the switchgear, steering wheel and gear selector all similarly present in an excellent standard and contribute to the overall fresh appearance of this Jaguar’s interior
All interior gauges and equipment are reported by the vendor to be functioning as expected and looking around the dashboard of this particular XKR it’s clear that this is a highly specified example
We note many excellent features such as dual zone climate control, satellite navigation, telephone preparation, electrically operated heated front seats and cruise control
From the driver’s seat the column mounted paddles and classic analogue gauges with ‘R’ designation complete the sporting GT feel, willing you to fire up that glorious V8
The Exterior
Responsible for some of the most beautiful cars ever made, Ian Callum’s design for Jaguar’s 2nd generation XKR does not disappoint.
Drawing on design elements of past greats such as the E-Type, the XKR truly is a captivating example of coherent and well-proportioned car design
Presented here in the gorgeous shade of Liquid Silver, complimented by a set of 20 inch alloy wheels in a great condition and shod in Dunlop SP SportMaxx rubber all round
In terms of exterior condition the XKR presents very well indeed, with an excellent paint finish all round and body panels which appear free of any significant defects or damage - undoubtedly a benefit of the Jag’s aluminium construction
Featuring attractive design elements unique to the XKR model, such as quad exhausts, redesigned front bumper, bonnet louvers and subtle ‘R’ badging
Finally, exterior trim also presents as one would expect, in a complete and excellent condition
The Mechanics
With a 4.2-litre supercharged V8, firing up the XKR emits a gloriously addictive bark from its quad exhaust pipes, settling into a purposeful rumble on idle
With an enviable service history going above and beyond Jaguar’s own recommendations, this XKR looks to have been very well maintained over its 16 years
Mated to the V8 is an excellent 6-speed ZF torque-converter gearbox with steering column mounted paddles, allowing a greater degree of driver involvement
Producing 420 BHP and 413 Ib-ft of torque, the XKR feels seriously quick out on the road but is also able to settle into effortless cruising when required
Recently serviced this summer by the vendor, this Jaguar is reported to be in a faultless running condition
Summary
A gorgeous classic British GT with a sonorous supercharged V8 powerplant, does it get any better than this? We think not, and given its fast appreciating status, it would appear we’re far from alone in that assessment.
A beautiful low mileage and well cared for example, this XKR is quite simply a great example of the breed and is sure to give its new owner many miles of highly enjoyable motoring.
