The Appeal
A ground up rethink after the 360 Modena, the F430 marked the beginning of a new age for Ferrari. With bodywork sculpted by many hours of wind tunnel development and an all-new, naturally aspirated V8 engine, it certainly set out to make its mark. Of course, it proved to be a huge success for the prancing horse, and is still a highly prized and collectible supercar.
Presented in classic Rosso Corsa over Crema leather, this excellent, low mileage example must surely be one of the nicest on the market. With less than 20,000 miles recorded and a very fine service and maintenance record, it’s little wonder that the car shows so well.
Cherished and cared for by its current owner since April 2014, we think you’ll have to go a very long way to find a better example. Whoever is fortunate enough to become this F430’s next custodian is going to be getting their hands on a finely crafted and beautifully maintained machine.

Crema leather is the perfect finishing touch for a Rosso Corsa Ferrari. Offering a timelessly elegant contrast to the exterior, it presents here in excellent condition, with the merest hint of light wear and use. Both the seats and dashboard feature red contrast stitching too, adding a luxurious, bespoke touch.
The fine upholstery is nicely complemented with red carpets and floor mats, all of which look to be in excellent order, with no damage or staining to be seen. Similarly, the headlining is clean, secure and undamaged.
Looking at the well styled switchgear and trim, we’re impressed by how well everything has worn. There’s the odd minor mark or blemish to some of the controls and trim, as you’d expect, but overall all the elements of the cabin present in exceptionally fine fettle for their age. Even the Ferrari branded torch is present and correct in the glovebox. We’re informed by the vendor that everything works too, with no faults, issues or warning lights reported.
Behind the seats there is a generous and very useful luggage shelf, complete with integrated nets for small items. Adding a little more practicality, under the front bonnet there is a further luggage compartment, trimmed in neat black carpet and containing the original toolkit, compressor and trickle charger.
The Exterior
- Rosso Corsa (322) paintwork
- Wing shields
- Professionally ceramic coated
- Factory option rear carbon Heckblende
- Original alloy wheels
The amount of time and effort that Ferrari spent making the F430 as aerodynamically efficient as possible is evident from the styling. From the flat floor to the wide rear venturi and smoothly sculpted flanks, every inch of this car simply screams “speed”.
Finished in the iconic ‘Rosso Corsa’ hue, it really does present in very fine condition. While there are a small number of tiny stone chips to the front end – as you’d find on any car – the paintwork is in excellent condition overall. We couldn’t identify any notable marks or blemishes at all.
As a further measure to protect the paint, the vendor had the car professionally ceramic coated in July 2022. The work is certified and comes with a five year warranty – which would take it up to July 2027.
Likewise, the bodywork is smooth and neat, with no hints of damage or corrosion and consistent, even panel gaps and shut lines. All the trim and badging appears to be present and correct and shows similarly well. Truly, the car belies its age thanks to being so well cared for.
The wheels are the correct factory fitted items, finished in shining silver and presenting very well. We couldn’t see any evidence of kerb damage or lacquer peel. They are shod in a matched set of Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, with the fronts only having been fitted in May 2021.
The Mechanics
- 4,308cc 90-degree, naturally aspirated V8
- F1 transmission with paddle shifters
- Launch Control
- E-Diff (electronic differential)
- CST (stability and traction control)
- Driving modes controlled by Mannettino
With a flat-plane crank, that high-revving 4.3-litre V8 sounds truly epic, whether it’s just burbling at idle or howling along at full chat. Mid-mounted and driving the rear wheels, it delivers a thunderous 490hp and 465Nm. That’s respectively 23% and 25% more than the 360 Modena,
The results are, naturally, blistering. The 0-62mph dash passes in four seconds, while Ferrari claims that the car can charge on to a top speed of “more than” 196mph. Where appropriate, of course. This power is controlled with the lightning-quick F1 paddle shift transmission and a raft of driving modes and safety systems, making sure the driver is engaged and challenged, but never left in the lurch.
The last service was a major one, carried out in August 2021, less than 400 miles ago. It also included repairs to the exhaust manifolds and the fitment of new brake discs all round.
With such low miles and that great service history, it’s no surprise that the vendor tells us the car is mechanically perfect and drives “superbly”. We are assured that there are no faults at all, that the vendor is aware of.
Summary
A simply beautiful car, presented in exquisite condition with very low mileage and a great service history. In short, this is everything you could want from a modern Ferrari.
