The Appeal
The first truly mass-produced Bentley, the was intended to full a big gap in the market - a car capable of selling more than 200 vehicles a year, rather than the often restrictively expensive product range that Crewe had been focusing on. Based upon the Java concept car, it was still far from a budget vehicle. No bones about it - this was a supremely handsome, sophisticated car, with a highly impressive W12 twin-turbo under the bonnet and stacks of options for the discerning motorist.
Here, those handsome lines are presented in a fanciful Silverlake Metallic paint, while the palatial cabin is beautifully finished in Beige and cream. The upholstery is fine, the impressive swathe of features all working as they should, and the peppering of Bentley branding makes clear that this is one of Crewe's finest - and will no doubt give plenty of bragging rights to the lucky new owner.
