The Appeal
The 996 set the template, but for many it took the 997 to embellish and perhaps perfect it. The newer car reintroduced classic 911 cues like the headlights and dashboard and dialled up the performance and handling.
The first owner of this 2006 997 C4S Tiptronic clearly knew their way around the specification list. Smartly finished in dark grey metallic, it is fitted with the surefooted AWD system, versatile Tiptronic gearbox and desirable Sport Chrono Plus package. which adds an array of driving modes.
The vendor, a serial Porsche enthusiast, acquired the car in April 2023, shortly after a £22,000 engine and gearbox rebuild. That work remains under warranty to April 2025 and the car has covered less than 2,000 miles in the intervening time.
Recently fitted with new Pirelli P Zeros all round and equipped with a long MOT to May 2025, this is a well looked after, low mileage 997 with virtually all-new mechanicals.
