The Appeal

Morgan’s rethink of its popular range-topping V8 was inspired. In came a reliable Ford V6 that was more powerful and lighter than the venerable Rover. This car has been upgraded to the clever five link rear suspension set up that was adopted for later Roadsters. The result is a car that is quick and agile.

Traditionally supplied with the bare minimum of driver aids, these cars are all about engagement.

This enthusiast-owned 2006 Roadster is classically finished in Le Mans Green with matching roof and a lovely Mulberry cabin. The low mileage has kept it in great condition, the maintenance carefully curated by a trio of keepers. There is a remarkable run of 18 service stamps from new, most of them by Morgan main dealers. It was last serviced just 70 miles ago.

This Roadster is both pretty and potent. It is largely standard, save for some useful tweaks including that five-link rear suspension - installed by Morgan dealer WIlliams Automotive - plus Avo shock absorbers and a stainless steel exhaust. These are rare but compelling cars and with its long, advisory-free MOT to August 2025, this one is ready to enjoy.
