The Appeal
Any V12 Ferrari grabs attention but the 612 Scaglietti particularly so. An evocative name, sleek Pininfarina styling, all-aluminium space frame and 530bhp on tap delivered a full four-seater with all the drama buyers expected from Maranello.
Just 3,000 were built over six years, making these classically engineered Ferraris especially rare. Manual and automatic options were available, the former being exceptionally rare but highly sought after by enthusiasts.
This is one of the 199 manual-gearbox cars. It is a very low mileage Scaglietti that has been impeccably maintained. It has just been serviced - including timing belts - and comes to us with a long, advisory-free MOT to November 2024.

The Scaglietti cleverly channeled the profile of earlier front-engined V12 Ferrari like the Daytona into a thoroughly modern, bespoke-looking coupe shape that has stood the test of time very well. It looks particularly good in subtle shades such as the black of this car.
It is in very good condition inside and out with few signs of age or use reflecting the low mileage. The mid blue leather interior is particularly compelling.
The Mechanics
- 5,748cc 530bhp F133 V12 engined car
- Very rare 6spd manual gearbox with Ferrari aluminium gate
- 0-60mph in 4secs
- Full Ferrari and specialist service history
- Just 200 miles since £10,000 investment in mechanicals
- This included service, timing belts, alternator and ABS pump
Alongside its mid-engined marvels, Ferrari’s front-engined V12-powered cars offer buyers a more spacious and relaxed way to cover long distances exceptionally quickly. Most buyers of the Scaglietti chose to lean into those qualities but a handful - just 199 in all - chose to exploit the car’s lauded dynamics by selecting the manual gearbox option.
As enthusiasts know, it was a canny choice, enabling buyers to access the agility and engagement that the Scaglietti’s all-aluminium, Maranello-honed dynamics provided.
Alongside that desirable gearbox this car has impeccable service history, by main dealers and specialists. In November over £10,000 was expended on servicing, timing belts, alternator and ABS pump. The car has covered only 200 miles since. It also comes equipped with a long MOT showing no advisories.
