The Appeal

If you’re in the market for the ultimate GT it’s hard to look past the Bentley Continental GT. Its 50s forebear was one of the original trans-continental mile munchers and its modern equivalent has few equals when it comes to hand-crafted luxury and prodigious, effortless high-speed wafting.

When buying one, the key is specification and maintenance. Thanks to Bentley’s extensive range of bespoke options, each car is different. And with that 550bhp W12 under the bonnet, you need to know it’s been looked after.

That is where this car appeals to us. It is a low mileage 2008 car in smart ‘black on black,’ the interior accented by dark wood veneers and some choice Mulliner accoutrements. The condition inside and out is impressive for a hand-built car of this age.

Then there is the maintenance history. In late 2023 the previous keeper invested £15,000 in a comprehensive renovation of the car via Bentley specialist Mark Taylor. The current keeper has put a further £14,000 into improvements, most of it via Bentley main dealers. Clearly the car has wanted for absolutely nothing. A long, advisory-free MOT to June 2025 underlines that point.
