The Appeal

The Flying Spur is very much a car of benefits. Indulgent and excessive, with a bred-in sense of opulence only Bentley can really provide - but there's far more underneath that fanciful persona. These cars are capable of a whisker under two hundred miles per hour, offering a sumptuous ride all the while. Factor in all of that leather and the array of switches to the dashboard, and you get something akin to a high-octane smoking parlour on wheels.

This 2006 example of the Continental Flying Spur has wanted for nothing, and is quite the resplendent example. Used strictly for special occasions, it's boasted a history of company car usage, pampered and serviced on a regular basis. All of the luxurious features and fittings are present and correct, and the gigantic 12-cylinder monster under the bonnet is still running as you'd expect.

Accompanied by a vast paperwork file and an MOT that's valid until August 2025, we're sure this fine, well-presented car will be a prize purchase for its lucky new owner.

First registered in 2006

Dye and wear are present only on the driver's seat; the rest of the interior appears in smart condition for its age
All electric seating, heating, and cooling functions work, including headrests and massage
Carpets and headliner are all clean and well-kept
Sunroof functions as designed
Rear electric window sunshade works as intended
Multi-changer CD and sat nav were removed for a speed camera jammer, which has now been removed
CD and sat nav for this model are available online at a low cost but require correct fittings
Steering wheel shows signs of leather dye wear
Xcarlink interface system fitted, with manual supplied
Described as a lovely big armchair that travels at 190 mph in total comfort

The Mechanics

6.0-Litre twin-turbo 12-cylinder engine

Engine is in fine fettle
Gearbox is auto-sport with paddle shifters on the steering wheel and four-wheel drive
Vendor notes a suspension clunk at the front, possibly an anti-roll bar issue, inspected twice but not found by the garage
One exhaust cover at the rear is loose
Vehicle comes with a full battery cut-off remote system, which takes time to clear the dash when boosted back up
Leaving the battery conditioner on eliminates this issue
We've no reports of any mechanical issues throughout
