The Appeal

Alfa Romeo’s 156 was a remarkable return to form, a brilliantly styled saloon that returned the firm to the front of the mid-size saloon car market. The detailing was exquisite, from the concealed rear door handles to the offset front numberplate that echoed classic Alfas of old.

Of the many variations available, modern collectors particularly value the Busso-engined V6 which in 2.5litre form delivered a very healthy 190bhp. There was also a clever gearbox available, called the Q-System, that offered fully automatic driving or a clutchless manual change.

First registered in September 2006 this November 2002, pre-facelift V6 car has that rare gearbox and is classically finished in metallic red over black leather. A low mileage car with a long MOT it is in good, solid and presentable condition. With interest in these cars increasing in line with their rarity, this is a great opportunity to discover a classic Alfa Romeo saloon.
