The Appeal
The release of the Continental GT in 2003 proved itself to be just the sort of rebirth needed after Volkswagen took ownership of the company. Bentley built their reputation on GTs. Delivering contemporary styling and performance in a package that remained true to the Bentley’s reputation for comfortable grand tourers, the Continental was, and still is, a fabulous piece of kit.
This Bentley is in fine shape and with a very good service history, and it’s in great condition mechanically as well.

The Interior

- Highly figured wood veneers used in abundance
- Some gentle wear and slight discoloration to the beige leather

- All of the switchgear presents well and the vendor informs us that it works
- The carpeting displays little evidence of foot traffic
- The headlining remains clear and secure
The Exterior
- Light blue metallic paintwork
- The paint presents well, with few blemishes
- Small chips of the edge of the nearside door have been touched in
- The bodywork is very straight overall, with a small dent along one swage line
- We couldn’t see any corrosion to the bodywork
- The wheels are in good shape, with some slight deterioration in places
- The Pirelli tyres look to be in good condition
The Mechanics
- 6.0-litre W12 engine
- Six-speed automatic gearbox
- One of the front air springs was replaced recently
- The vendor informs it that it drives really well with no faults to report
Summary
