The Appeal
Evolving a four door saloon from a coupe revived an idea and therefore a name for Bentley’s new executive express. The Flying Spur was also, appropriately, enough the most powerful and fastest production car in the world. A fitting addition to the firm’s long line of brutal, pummelling saloons.
The new car mixed classic Bentley hand-crafted cues with advanced technology. This included the clever twin-turbo, 6litre W12 engine that was both powerful and very smooth.
The Flying Spur was unveiled in March 2005, which makes this April car one of the earliest built. It is a low mileage example finished in a particularly fetching colour scheme. The good condition reflects the care of its handful of owners, meaning it comes to the buyer ready to enjoy. Few modern saloons are as sumptuous, cossetting and simply rewarding as the Flying Spur and this one looks ready and well placed to deliver all three qualities.
