HIGHLIGHTS
- Smart and well-presented W12 super saloon
- Incredibly well-equipped
- Fair amount of maintenance history
- Incredible power and refinement
THE APPEAL
Back when it was new, this British-built super-saloon would have set its original owner back over £145,000, making it one of the most expensive saloon cars in the world.
Based on the platform of the Continental GT and sharing its thumping 552bhp twin-turbocharged W12 engine, the Spur was Bentley’s luxury flagship. Today, it has to be one of the most incredible luxury bargains going – finely engineered and opulently equipped, you can now enjoy the finest in motoring for a fraction of the original cost.
This one has to be one of the best value Spurs on the market right now, with an interesting history. It has spent much of its life between the UK and Spain, and was frequently used by the previous owner to commute between Marbella and Gibraltar. That means it’s well-used, but also proven to be reliable. It has seen a lot of recent maintenance, much of it from a well-known specialist, and is for sale because the owner has decided to downsize as he gets older.
