The Appeal
If ever a car evoked high-speed sojourns to the south of France or a leisurely meander to a boutique Cotswold country house hotel, it is the DB9. These beautiful, hand-built cars were created solely to reward those lucky enough to own one.
This car’s resplendent Rothesay Red paintwork - so named after the Earl of Rothesay’s magnificent red-brick pile - makes an appealing alternative to the more common muted tones of many DB9s. The paintwork is complemented by a Sandstone leather interior with burgundy highlights and mahogany veneers. The first owner certainly had taste.
The car has subsequently been maintained very well, passing through a handful of keepers who have kept the servicing and maintenance up to date. There is a run of 15 service stamps - a mix of main dealers and specialists - to 92,275 miles. The car is now on 93,697 miles. The thick history file shows regular attention to additional work including brakes and tyres.
The current MOT shows no advisories, meaning this well preserved example of Aston’s icon is ready to enjoy, whatever your destination.
