Highlights
• Serviced and ready to drive
• Good condition throughout
• A quick mid-engined sports car
The Background
The Boxster was introduced in 1996 as a mid engined sports car using Porches new water cooled engine marking a change from the older air cooled designs used up to that point. The launch was a success with the car gaining praise for its poise and handling.
In 1999 Porsche released the S version with a larger, more powerful 3.2L flat six engine that has allowed these fantastic cars to become widely regarded as being some of the most fun for the money cars available.
The small size and mid engine placement means that the Boxster handles fantastically and the larger 3.3L engine provides plenty of power to match.

The History
The current owner bought the car in 2019 but unfortunately due to ill health he can no longer enjoy the car the way he previously could and has decided to sell it on to someone who can make the most of it.
The Paperwork
There is extensive Porsche service history as indicated by the stamps in the service book and receipts for a recent full service alongside the new MOT.
The Interior
The interior is in good condition overall for the age and mileage. The low slung leather bucket seats are surprisingly comfortable for longer journeys but provide that sporty feel that is more than matched by the performance of this little roadster. The dash and carpets are all in good condition and there is an overall feeling of quality in the interior that would be expected from a Porsche.
The combination of quality, sporty design and luxury make the inside of a Boxster a pleasant place to be and it’s a car we’d have no issues doing longer touring trips in. For such a diminutive two seater the Boxster feels surprisingly roomy on the inside and this is matched again by generous cargo space for a car of this size.

The Exterior
The exterior is in good condition for the age and mileage and like most Porches it looks fantastic and will make an impression wherever it goes. Finished in Arctic Silver metallic and with the black soft top with red brake calipers the car is both refined and sporty, a classic Porsche design.
There are a few marks as to be expected with a car of this age, such as a couple of small chips to the wheels (as pictured) and to the underside of the front bumper courtesy of speed bumps, but these do not detract from the overall look of the car, which is very good.
The hood is in very good condition and the car looks great with it either up or down.

The Mechanics
The car starts well from cold and sounds fantastic, the flat six has a beautiful smooth rumble that only gets better under acceleration. The car has been well looked after and this is reflected in the mechanics, there are no faults or unusual sounds and the car comes recently serviced, MOT’d and with a set of recent tyres.
If it wasn't for the health issues the current owner would not be looking to sell this fantastic car, it has been very well looked after and runs beautifully making it a fantastic example of this generation Boxster S.
For those looking for some reliability to go with their driving fun, this is the one we’d choose.

The Appeal
The Boxster (and in particular the S variant) is regarded as one of the most fun cars to be had for the money. From it’s classic Porsche styling to the 3.2L flat six in the middle of the car this is a car that was built for people who love cars.
As well as providing a fantastic sports car experience the Boxster hides a surprising amount of luggage space inside, making it a fantastic car for a quick (and we mean quick) trip to the continent or for those looking to inject some serious fun into their commute!
Fast and responsive to the throttle and great fun in the corners this Boxster S is hard not to love, if you're looking for something that provides tons of fun when driving, but also looks good and provides the comfort needed for longer trips then bid now, this is one you don’t want to miss.
