The Appeal
After the step change of the Porsche 996, the 997 was arguably the car to bring back the purists. Certainly, the water-cooled element was there to stay, but but the car brought back those signature round headlights that so many had mourned the loss of, and released what, in many respects, was a far more 'traditionally Porsche' car in terms of aesthetics.
This fine 2004 example has been very clearly cared for, evidenced by its extensive service history. There's plenty of time left on the MOT, and the water pump has recently been replaced for the new owner's piece of mind. If you fancy a classy yet still highly up-to-date sports car, a 997 is a safe bet - and we've no doubt that this one will tick all of the boxes.
