The History and Paperwork

• First registered in January 2004
• Just 3 former keepers
• Owned by the current keeper since 2015

The Interior

• Incredibly high specification
• Seating capacity for 7, thanks to the rear boot bench
• Two-tone grey and dark blue leather upholstery (Code 252A), accented with wooden veneer details along the centre console, and door cards
• Adaptive seats with bolster supports, and massage, heating, and cooling functions
• Electronic front seat adjustability with memory functions
• The seats benefit from a previous re-colouring, and now show arguably impressively few signs of wear, respective of the mileage covered
• Multifunction steering wheel, showing minimal signs of wear and age
• Viseoo Bluetooth phone connectivity
• Repaired passenger door lock in 2017
• Renewed ribbon cable for the rear passenger’s courtesy light in 2018
• Clean & tidy grey carpeting throughout
• Minor marking to the interior headliner
• The interior of this E55 AMG seemingly presents itself very well for its age, now showing only minor signs of wear, including the aforementioned headlining marks and the typical blemishes from use. 

The Exterior

• Brilliant Silver Metallic (744U) paintwork, presented in excellent condition respective of age and mileage. Minor blemishes and stone chips are present but are refined mostly towards the front end, and hardly detract from the overall charm
• 18" 5 Double Spoke AMG alloys, in excellent condition having been refurbished in 2019, with only a few minor chips & blemishes. The wheels are wrapped in pairs of Goodyear Eagle F1, and Pirelli P Zero tyres, with 5.5mm (rear) and 4.5mm (front) of tread respectively.

• New chrome load trim fitted to the rear of the boot, still covered by the protective film
• Badging and details around the vehicle seemingly present themselves very well for their age, with only the rear AMG badge reportedly showing a minor chip
• Overall, the vehicle appears to have been very well cared for over the years. There are of course minor signs of use to expect, but nothing capable of dampening the gorgeous styling of this sporty estate

The Mechanics

• 5.4L supercharged V8, paired with a Speedshift 5-speed automatic transmission
• Very well maintained example with excellent service history
• Runs & drives exactly as intended, with the exception of the front passenger park sensors, which can be rather temperamental when wet
• Serviced upon each ASSYST PLUS recommendation, by the likes of MB Chelsea, Startech in Chessington and GM Enterprises, Swindon. Last serviced in July 2022
• In 2016, the vehicle received a new secondary air injection pump, new spark plugs, new front torque arms, and underwent a rear windscreen washer repair
• In 2017, the vehicle received a new front parking sensor, and received repairs to the passenger door lock
• In 2018, the vehicle was serviced, given new rear tracking arm bolts, new rear airmatic bags, and received a renewed cable for the rear passenger’s courtesy light
• In 2019, the vehicle was serviced, and received new brake discs & pads all around
• In 2020, the vehicle was serviced, and received new front tie rod ends
• Earlier this year in March, the vehicle received a new radiator, transmission cooler oil pipes, front engine mounts, a refurbished airmatic compressor, new airmatic valve block, cylinder head covers, crank seal vent lids, steering rack mounts and new front brake lines
• In April, the vehicle received new front torsion control arms, spring link arms, drop links, rear brake pipes & new rear flexi hoses, courtesy of Avantgarde Clevedon
• In May, the vehicle received new rear electronic shock absorbers, and a new compressor gasket
• In August, the offside rear airmatic bag was replaced, and the vehicle received a geometry and ride height setup, courtesy of Automerc Newbury
• MOT until 19 September 2023. It should also be noted that the 2021 MOT advisory for a minor oil leak has since been tended to, earlier this year
• With the exception of the aforementioned parking sensor issue, this beast of an estate performs exactly as AMG intended. You’re blessed with the signature Kompressor whine, buckets of torque from the 5.4L V8 up front, and an exceptionally capable automatic gearbox.
