Highlights
- A nicely presented example of the six-seater County Defender
- Clearly well cared for and maintained across just four previous owners
- Offered in a popular colourway complete with Land Rover Boost alloy wheels
The Appeal
The Land Rover 90 and 110 were launched in 1984 as replacements to the ubiquitous Series Land Rovers and offered the user a host of useful enhancements and refinements over the, now, rather old-fashioned Series vehicles. The Defender name wasn’t introduced until 1990, however. The welcome and generous improvements included a coil sprung suspension, a single piece windscreen, plastic arch extensions to accommodate a wider track and a permanent four-wheel-drive system carried over from the Range Rover.
This example is a great looking Defender in the popular 90-inch County specification. The condition appears to be very good overall, and the combination of bright silver livery, big chunky alloys and tyres and snorkel give the Defender that unique Land Rover trait of looking at home anywhere.
