The Appeal

Before Jaguar donned colourful outfits and promised to "copy nothing" and "delete ordinary", the illustrious British firm produced world-beating luxury grand tourers - the sort of car you-choose to galivant across Continental Europe in. The XKR was a case in point. As pretty as the E-Type and a good deal faster, here was a car that seamlessly blended the best of the old with the best of the new. It was a terrific piece of kit.

This 2004 example stands out in its rare factory Slate Grey, which accentuates its sumptuous curves and feline stance. With only 55,500 miles on the clock and a full service history, this XKR is clearly the one to buy.
