The Appeal
A long-term feature of the XJ range, the XJR was Jaguar's ultimate high-performance saloon, powered by a supercharged 4.2-litre V8. Outwardly, the XJR looked much alike other X350 XJs, with only the most subtle nods to the power under the bonnet - something Jaguar historically does very well.
This 2004 example was a Jaguar-approved used car in 2014. The vendor tells us:
"It had six thousand pounds of maintenance, the last being £3,900 at Jaguar Edinburgh including new discs. The car was then taken off the road in 2016 due to the owner's ill health.
It's just had £4,000 spent on recommissioning, including fuel pipes, subframes, suspension pump and bags etc. Subsequently, it passed its MOT with no advisories. The car has only had four owners and has a full history from new, all bills, the original book pack etc."
Offered with just 67,544 miles on the clock and in very good condition with a long, clean MOT, this tastefully specified XJR would be a superb addition to any driveway.
