The Appeal

After 14 years of absence, BMW finally revived the 6 Series with the introduction of the very well-received E63/64 chassis. The 645 Ci is of course one of the most desirable in the E63 lineup, boasting a 4.4L V8, along with more comforts & features than you can count. It's a car that offers a superb balance of performance, practicality, and luxury, for a very respectable price.
This particular 645 Ci is a superb example, presenting itself with just 41k on the clock, and excellent mechanical health. The vehicle is also in fantastic condition both inside and out, which is a testament to both the care shown to the car, and the low mileage covered.
If you’re looking for a truly comfortable, V8 grand tourer with all the trimmings, very few cars come close to this beautiful 645 Ci

The History and Paperwork

  • 6 former keepers
  • Low mileage example
  • MOT until March 2023
  • Excellent service history
  • Well maintained & cared for
  • V5C document present
This BMW has no doubt been well cared for over the years, as shown by the fantastic service record and stamped booklet. It’s a vehicle that has also seemingly been savoured for special occasions, showing only 41k on the clock today.
Also included alongside the aforementioned service booklet, are the rest of the BMW handbooks, along with the navigation, and dashcam support. Although the vehicle has seemingly required very little over the years, a small collection of invoices are also included with the paperwork, alongside the V5C document, ready to sign over.

The Interior

  • Multifunction leather steering wheel
  • Electronic seat adjustment with memory function
  • Front & rear dashcams
  • Excellent condition
The interior of this 2004 BMW 645 Ci is in fantastic condition and shows very few signs of wear. In fact, the driver’s seat only seems to show the most minor signs of wear, and the passenger seats all appear to have hardly been used, especially the rears.
The carpeting throughout the cabin also presents itself very well, clearly benefitting from the protection of both carpet and rubber floor mats atop. The headliner follows suit, showing no obvious defects or discolouration. Both door cards aren’t far behind at all, although very minor marks can be found on the driver’s side, only upon incredibly close inspection.
Buyers will also be pleased to know that all interior controls, instruments and gauges are believed to be in full working order, with no known faults. This vehicle does also include both front and rear BMW Advanced Car Eye cameras, although the rear camera is yet to be connected.

The Exterior

  • Excellent Silver paintwork
  • Gorgeous Coupe styling
  • Refurbished 18” alloys
The E63 6 Series coupe is simply gorgeous. It's a sleek, understated design that sits perfectly in the sweet spot of early 2000s BMW styling. This example does BMW proud, presenting itself in fantastic condition for its age, with hardly any defects to note.
Typical British weather aside, the silver paintwork offers a great deal of shine and suits the classy nature of this coupe perfectly. As the images reflect, the paint has clearly been very well preserved over the years, and now seemingly shows only the expected minor front-end marks, and likely the odd speck around the body. Perhaps a hint of the vehicle’s past care is the paint protection film applied to the rear quarter.
Completing the vehicle’s excellent exterior condition, are a set of freshly refurbished 18” alloys, finished in coarse silver. As you would expect, the wheels are in superb condition, with no noticeable defects. The current keeper has also ensured the vehicle is fitted with a welcome set of Bridgestone tyres, with plenty of tread left to enjoy. Included in the boot, are the budget tyres previously fitted by a past owner.

The Mechanics

  • 4.4L V8
  • Automatic transmission with sport mode
  • Excellent service history
  • Well maintained
  • MOT until March 2023
  • Drives brilliantly
Buyers will be pleased to know that this 645 Ci fires up right away and doesn’t miss a beat. Upon firing the V8 up, you’re greeted with a very subtle growl on idle, which then begins to sing its tasteful song throughout the gears.

As supported by the included service booklet, the vehicle has certainly been well maintained throughout its life, boasting 14 service stamps. This coupe has also seemingly required very little over the years too, with only a new alternator in 2021, and a new front left spring this year to mention.
With no known faults to report, this coupe is ready to be enjoyed.

Summary

This 645 Ci presents a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a low mileage example of one of BMW’s finest coupes. The vehicle is in excellent condition both inside and out, and has been very well maintained over the years with plenty of service history to show.
If you’re looking for a superbly comfortable tourer with V8 power on tap, this 645 Ci deserves to be your first choice.
