The Appeal

Inspired by classic models such as the 356 Cabriolet, Speedster, and 550 Spyder, Grant Larson played a pivotal role in designing the Porsche Boxster. The debut of the first-generation Boxster 986 in late 1996 showcased a mid-engined 2.5-litre flat-six-cylinder engine, delivering 204 bhp and 180 lb-ft of torque. The Boxster swiftly captured the hearts of the public and automotive enthusiasts alike—a nimble, quick, and reasonably priced sports car that remained distinctly Porsche.

In 1999, Porsche further improved the Boxster's performance by increasing the engine size to 2.7 litres, boosting power to 220 bhp. Additionally, the introduction of the Boxster S variant featured a 3.2-litre flat-six engine generating 256 bhp, making a significant enhancement. This particular model, the Boxster S, embodies the culmination of these developments.

This lovely 2003 Porsche Boxster S is in excellent condition, covering only 66,997 miles in nearly 20 years. Ticking many boxes, the Porsche comes with some well-chosen optional extras such as white dials, Bose audio, and heated seats. The colour is the desirable Seal Grey Metallic, and the car is equipped with a 3.2-litre engine and a manual six-speed gearbox.
