The Appeal
The 996 represented an era of change for Stuttgart. During a rocky period in the 90s, the 911 was reaching the limits of what it was capable of, and the world’s attitudes were changing in realtime. It was only natural that eyes turned towards a new platform, a new water-cooled engine and an overall sleeker car.
The result spoke for itself - the 996 has become another jewel in the crown of Porsche AG, and may well be credited with saving the company.
2003 example comes to us with plenty of aftermarket upgrades, and a comprehensive service history. It’s a fabulous example of a much-loved modern classic.
