The Appeal
The 4/4 was Morgan’s longest lived model and its first four wheeler, hence the enduring name. It continuously developed during its 80 year run, most notably evolving into the ‘Long Door’ model of 1997.
This introduced 114 individual changes to meet EU regulations and, as the name suggests, improve entry and exit for occupants. Later cars also got Ford’s updated Zetec R 1.8litre engine. Those improvements make these later cars particularly sought after.
This beautiful Royal Ivory over Yarwood Red 4/4 benefits from all those enhancements. It also has a very low mileage and full service history - there are 18 stamps in the original service book from marque specialist Richard Thorne. It looks fantastic and, for lovers of these ultimate British roadsters, a great purchase.

No other sports car comes equipped with quite the sense of history and hand-built majesty of a Morgan. The firm has cleverly stayed relevant by combining tradition with technology, as the long history of the 4/4 testifies.
This lovely ivory over red 4/4 has clearly been cared for. A low mileage car with superb service history - including a very recent service - it is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves traditional, wind in the hair motoring.
