The plus

The TF was an evolution of the already well-designed F concept.
Sharper, simpler suspension, improved quality and updated styling make these newer models popular with enthusiasts.
There are few modern classics quite like it.

The model to have is of course this one, the high performance 160bhp version. This car adds a rare and particularly attractive specification to the package, blending mesmerising dark blue metallic paint with a two-tone black and beige leather and Alcantara interior.

It has been in the hands of the current owner since 2010 and has clearly been well maintained. The usual MG TF checkpoints - arches, rocker panels and wings - present well, and a good history file is on offer. The car has been serviced by English car specialist Aumonier in Niort and recent work includes a full overhaul.

The vendor is only selling because he is reducing his collection, and the car comes with a MOT valid until October 2026.
