The Appeal
Featuring Mercedes-Benz’s clever folding hardtop technology for the first time, the R230 marked the beginning of a new era for the SL range. It opened up the SL range to a whole new client base, offering true all-weather ability and practicality. Where the SL had once been a pure cruiser, the R230 range also featured a number of high performance, AMG fettled models – including this handsome SL55 AMG.
Finished in striking Tanzanite Blue Metallic paintwork and with an extensive list of creature comforts and options, this SL55 AMG makes for a superb luxury daily performance machine, as well as being a superb grand tourer. Presented in fine overall condition, with low mileage and a comprehensive history file, if you’ve been on the lookout for a car that will happily cruise along in comfort but also has the power to leave many a supercar in the weeds, then this is for you…
