The Appeal
The Lexus GS430 was an expensive piece of Japanese engineering when new, and has only become more scarce since. It’s a shame, too with an executive interior, this saloon is everything that the discerning motorist could want, with a sporting edge wrapped in a family-friendly package with legendary Japanese reliability.
This example has been maintained regardless of expense right up to the present day, is in mechanically excellent condition and drives beautifully. Thanks to a series of thoughtful upgrades - including a stainless steel exhaust and an LPG conversion, this is an utterly superb ambassador for this highly desirable motor.

Summary
As saloon cars go this is a rare, exciting and high-performance animal, which will always be a talking point where enthusiasts are gathered.
The mechanical condition is excellent for a car of this age. This is evidenced by the amply detailed service history, much of it by Lexus dealers up to the present day. There are not many cars of this era with such sporting appeal that also combine the practicality of four doors, five seats and a large boot.
