If there is any car that needs no introduction, it’s the Land Rover Defender. A staple of the British countryside and with worldwide renown for its rugged capabilities the Defender has become a true automotive legend. And with good reason; offering superb practicality with rugged looks and performance to match, the Defender’s reputation is well deserved.
This 110 Defender has the venerable TD5 engine, often regarded as Land Rovers best engine and having been with the same owner from new it’s mechanical condition appears to be excellent. The vendor used this Defender for his landscaping business and has panelled with ply and added wire mesh to the rear windows and between the load area and the cab, this alongside the tow hitch make this Defender a highly practical choice. Whilst the invoices for servicing do not come with the vehicle it does have all of the MOT history along with detailed hand written logs of all of the miles it has covered and any servicing work carried out. Even a quick look on the underside shows the care and attention it’s received during its service and with the only modification being a replacement steering wheel it offers a superb combination of condition and originality.
