The Appeal
Increasing engine capacity to a suitably Jaguar-esque 4.2litres and fitting a stronger 6spd gearbox improved on the X100’s already compelling brew. These later cars also got uprated interiors with more comfortable seats.
All of which makes this 2003 XKR particularly appealing. The current keeper has used it exactly as Jaguar surely intended - for long-distance, very comfortable cruises to Le Mans.
Recent work by an independent Jaguar specialist has included attending to the suspension and rectifying welding to common X100 areas. The result is a well kept car that is ready for the next owner to enjoy. It comes with a long MOT to February 2025.
With its blend of performance, luxury, and reliability, this XKR is a car that warrants serious consideration.
