The Appeal
The 360 was a masterstroke. After the slight mis-step of the 348, Ferrari followed up with the brilliant F355. That car established a new benchmark for mid-engined Ferraris. The 360 surpassed it.
The new car’s lightweight aluminium construction made it sharper and better to drive than its predecessor. That it was also more civilised and easier to live with has cemented its appeal amongst congnoscenti.
Good examples are therefore in demand. And this car is exactly that. It is an exceptionally low mileage car - under 27,000 miles which is verified by MOT records - finished in Azzurro California with complementary dark blue leather and roof. It is a combination popular with those who prefer their Ferraris to be in subtler hues.
The condition is impressive and typical of such a sparingly used car. It has been well maintained too, the recent work including a service and cambelt change in late 2023. With long, advisory-free MOT to December 2025 this is a well sorted car that is at the collector-quality end of the condition scale.

Ferrari buyers tend to split into two camps - those who prefer the classic ‘Rosso’ colour schemes and those in favour of more subtle hues. Of the latter, the Azzurro California of this car is one of the most popular choices. It suits the 360’s voluptuous lines and on this car is blended with a dark blue roof and two-tone blue leather interior. The overall sense of a handsome and very tasteful car.
It is also well kept thanks to that very low mileage. A professional ceramic coating to the exterior has certainly helped preserve the paintwork, but elsewhere the wheels attest to the care of its long term current keeper.
Inside the theme continues with a smart blue interior showing few signs of wear and retaining original fittings such as the factory radio sound system.
The Mechanics
- 3,586cc 400bhp V8 hand-built Ferrari engine
- 6spd F1 ‘Graziano’ semi-automatic gearbox with sequential shift options
- Well kept engine bay including red crackle finish to engine top
- Recent cambelt and service in September 2023 with few miles since
- New battery fitted
- We are told that the driver’s airbag light is on
- No mechanical or running gear advisories on current MOT
- No reported running or driving issues
The F355 was good, but the 360 was better. It lightly evolved the mechanicals of the earlier car, but really that was all that was needed. It was elsewhere that the 360 got better. The curvaceous bodywork was aluminium, as was the chassis, which made the 360 if not actually lighter than the F355, then certainly sharper and more engaging.
This car mates its 90 degree V8 to the innovative Graziano F1 semi-automatic gearbox, a transmission type that has become the staple of modern supercars. It delivers a full automatic driving experience or the option of lightning-quick sequential changes.
This very low mileage car has been carefully maintained by its handful of keepers, the current one since 2013. Recent work has included a full service and the all-important cambelt change in September 2023. It has covered few miles since that work, which totalled over £2,000.
There are a couple of points to note regarding the electrics and airbag, but these feel like minor issues when faced with such a well presented car. There were no mechanical or running gear advisories on the recent MOT.
