The Appeal
The E46 was to be the last and most capable of the naturally aspirated straight-six M3s. When paired with Getrag’s 420G six-speed manual gearbox, the S54 engine, with its six independent ‘drive-by-wire’ throttle bodies proved to be a sensational powertrain. It’s held M-car enthusiasts spellbound ever since.
This 2003 example is the stylish Cabriolet model, resplendent in ‘Silbergrau’ over red Nappa leather. The vendor acquired this M3 in January 2024, recognising its investment potential as a low-mileage, well-kept example in a fantastic specification. A year on, the vendor is reducing the size of their collection and so offers this desirable M3 Cabriolet for sale.
As the photographs attest, this M3 presents beautifully for its age, with minimal signs of wear in line with the low mileage. Complete with MOT until December 2025, it’s ready to enjoy.
