The Appeal
The joy of the E46 is that it arrived during BMW’s ‘Imperial Phase,’ one that delivered a near-perfect balance of driver engagement with technology. Then there were the engines, silky smooth, effortlessly powerful units like the well regarded M54 straight six.
Outside of the M cars, arguably the one to have is this, the 330 with that M54 3litre motor delivering 230bhp. This car’s appeal is broadened by the convertible roof and high specification. There is also a versatile ‘Tiptronic’ style automatic gearbox that enables the driver to switch between push-on enagement and relaxed cruising.
It is a very low mileage car with a popular Steel Grey metallic over beige leather colour combination. There have been just three keepers from new, which no doubt helps explains the very good overall condition.
The MOT history supports the impression of a cared for and sparingly used car. There are few advisories through time and none on the current test, which runs to July 2025. It was last serviced less than 4,000 miles ago.
