THE APPEAL

This model has been well maintained, with 14 stamps in the service book, plus additional invoices for work carried out that included new turbos in 2017. With just over 110,000 miles covered, the RS6 still has plenty of miles left for when the new custodian takes over the reins and enjoys this powerful saloon.

THE INTERIOR

• Full Black leather interior
• Electric Recaro heated leather seats in excellent condition with a very tiny amount of colour wear to the driver’s bolster
• Carbon fibre trim package
• The dashboard is in good condition with no damage 
• The instruments are working correctly with no warning lights displayed with the engine running 
• 110,055 miles showing on the odometer
• Audi Navigation Plus
• Bose speakers
• There is some wear to the switchgear, particularly to the button for the climate control
• Some wear is present around the door-mounted electric window switches
• Unable to test the head unit as it needs the security code. There is a code present in the owner's manual
• The steering wheel is in good condition and has paddle shifters for more spirited driving 
• The headlining is sagging across the whole panel 
• The carpets are in a good clean condition in the cabin and boot area 
• RS6 embroidered mats fitted

THE EXTERIOR

• Finished in Y7J Avus Silver (Avusilber Mettalic)
• 19” Vossen alloy wheels
• The panel gaps are even and matching
• Additional front spoiler fitted. This has come away from the bumper slightly on each corner
• Side skirts are fitted but are a little loose at the front end
• The car presents well but would benefit from a machine polish 
• There are some age-related marks and light scuffs
• The front passenger wing and door appear to have been repainted at some point
• RS alloy mirror caps and window trims are slightly tarnished
• The windows look to be free from any excessive scratches
• The rear half of the RS6 has been window tinted
• There are a lot of light scratches to the nearside rear door and quarter panel 
• There are two small areas of blistering to note on each side of the roof. The nearside is the worst affected
• Xenon headlights would benefit from a headlight restoration kit being used on them
• The nearside front wheel does have a kerb mark 
• All four tyres are matching and have a good amount of tread remaining

THE MECHANICS

• 4.2 litre V8 Twin-Turbo
• 5-speed automatic gearbox with Tiptronic paddle shifters

• The paperwork mentions a remap to the car, but doesn’t give full details
• Rear silencer deletion enhances the sound of the V8 
• The RS6 fires up without hesitation 
• The car is reported to pull strongly through the gears with a smooth change
